Seriously, the food here is next-level delicious, and you can totally taste the quality in every bite. They treat you like one of their own from the moment you walk in. It's such a welcoming vibe, you'll want to come back again and again. I can't recommend this place enough for a fantastic meal. You won't be disappointed! You gotta try this place if you're around and craving some legit Italian food. The flavors are spot on, just like Nonna used to make. Everything tasted super fresh, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. It's the kind of meal that just makes you happy. Definitely worth a visit for a truly authentic experience!

Went a couple of weeks ago, outstanding! Portions are for two! Excellent service. We enjoyed wine, sauteed calamari, stuffed shells, and don't miss dessert! Oh, and you have to meet Flo. Going again on Thursday. Can't wait! Prices more than reasonable.

My wife and I had our date night at Bella Vita in Johnson City. I will say this is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the tri cities, the only other Italian restaurant within 100 miles that's equals is Vinnie's in Asheville NC. We enjoyed the warm cozy atmosphere and appreciated that its a family owned business, so I feel they go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience. The bruschetta was incredible, I could have eaten the entire board by myself. The chicken alfredo was also very good and the fried chicken on top was the icing on the cake. My wife loved her eggplant parm with alfredo sauce, I tried a bite and can agree its amazing. The bread was fresh from the oven and butter was just right for spreading. We will let our friends and family know about Bella Vita and be back!

Casual Italian but feels a bit nicer and old school on the inside. Knowledgeable staff. Not a fussy restaurant. Good food, good quantity. Flexible chef. They even customized our order (egg allergy). Best Italian I've had in JC to be honest. Located on the Northside of JC, but it's in a seedy looking strip mall next to a liquor and vape shop. This could be so much nicer in a converted house or stand alone building, It's nextdoor to Mellow Mushroom, tucked behind it. Hard to see from the street. SW corner of Oakland/Roan.

Bella Vita was absolutely wonderful! We ordered the veal parm, lasagna, and eggplant parm — and every single dish was incredible. The veal was perfectly tender — had rich, flavorful sauce and just the right amount of melted cheese. The lasagna was hearty, layered beautifully and definitely made with authentic Italian flavor. The eggplant parm was cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not heavy at all. We paired everything with a delicious Petite Syrah that complemented the meal & everything perfectly. And to top it off, they surprised us with a birthday cannoli that was fresh, crisp, and the sweetest ending to the evening. The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience made it a night to remember with friends celebrating birthdays.
