Food was excellent. Servings are huge. Pizza was extra crispy and delicious. The fresh chips are solid place to start. I suggest adding salt or ask for their amazing Blue cheese. There menu is massive. So many things we couldn't get to. Will have to find my way back to try more items. Service was excellent!!

This place is a local hangout. A very country vibe which fits well the mountains of East Tennessee. A very expensive menu, which can make it hard to pick something but our bartender Matthew help shorten the list to a couple of his favorite items. We had the club sandwich in a half portion and a jerk chicken Cobb salad, which may be one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Plenty of beers on top all kinds of rare whiskeys and a decent wine list as well. If you find yourself in Johnson City after listening to a great country song, this is a great watering hole to end of the day.

Cootie Brown's NEVER disappoints!!! We typically visit the one in Bristol TN but were down this way and decided to pop in for an early dinner. We love the Nachos and Pizza. Which ones? ALL OF THEM!! Also a great place to get a flight of beer Oh and their pies are out of this world!!

My goodness, their homemade chips are delicious and their tamales are outstanding. Their menu is a vast majority of options from southern comforts to Mexican food with mole and a really good verde gravy. Their servings are massive and they are directly outside the campus for easy access to ETSU and the dome and football stadium. I really enjoyed their food. The staff was pretty good too and they have a super large cake selection and dessert section that looks great.

This was one of our favorite places to eat while in Johnson City Tennessee! The location we visited was across from ETSU. The service we received was excellent. Our servers introduced themselves with a smile and were delighted to provide recommendations since we were new to the Cootie Brown experience. Food was so delicious and the portions were more than we could eat in one setting. I also made sure to try their famous Key-lime pie, and it did not disappoint. It’s such a fun atmosphere, and the artwork around the place was great too!
