Been going to Greg's Pizza since the 1990's when I was in College. Was a little worried because of recent reviews. It is still the great pizza I remeber and hasn't changed at all. Still a must stop in Johnson City

I was told this place was one of the best pizza joints around. You go in and order, they have some seats if you want to wait for your pizza, but they don't have places to sit and eat. We got pepperoni and they slice them differently and put the toppings on the bottom.... like Papa Johns Pizza. Pepperoni should be nice and crispy, not under the sauce soft. I didn't think the pizza was all that amazing. My boyfriend likes him I think he likes him because his parents had their first date here way back in the day.

I have loved Greg’s Pizza for more than 50 years! The quality isn’t the same but now living in SC I still enjoy one occasionally. However my daughter witnessed something Tuesday night that makes me rethink my commitment to Greg’s… I’m all for supporting local businesses. Tonight I was at Greg’s pizza picking up the take and bake pizzas to take to South Carolina. One young man made a mistake. The owner went off. He was very ugly to the young man and then yelled at his wife. We buy pizza there a lot. I may rethink that. BTW…the young man took off his apron and walked out after that spectacle.

The pizzas used to be good. They have decreased the size of the boxes and pizzas several times in the last few years while raising prices. A large pizza is now smaller than a small pizza used to be. Way overpriced at $25! The pizza we got this week was the worst yet. The crust was 2 mm thick throughout most of the pizza. This is beyond thin crust. The quality of toppings has also decreased. The pizza has also been getting greasier if it’s not burnt to a crisp. We have decided that we much prefer the chain pizzas or even frozen pizzas to Greg’s.

This is the second time unfortunately that we’ve got a pizza to doesn’t look or taste great from this location. I didn’t ask for a refund or to be replaced as I live 35 minutes away and wasn’t going to drive back for it to be remade considering I had already worked a 12 day. Not sure what has changed but something has in fact . I’ve included some pictures of how burnt the bottom of the pizza was and the top. I’m 45 and have always ranted to everyone about how great Greg’s Pizza was in the past . Not sure that I will return again as my mother always said fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me !
